GlassCraft Doors • Finishing

At GlassCraft Door Company, we have spent years developing just the right finish for your wood door or complete entryway. Our exclusive finishing system applies beautiful wood stains in six colors and adds the final protective layers with crystal clear top finish coats. This produces a finish to complement the inherent beauty of the mahogany and knotty alder wood species.
Please note that the photos below offer an indication of the final appearance, but due to natural variations in the texture, grain, and color of wood, the actual results may vary.

All doors or entire prehung entryways may be ordered “unfinished” (for finishing by your contractor or remodeler), or with one of our beautiful “factory finishes”. Two finishes are available, each in any of the six colors shown above:

Traditional Finish is beautiful and long-lasting. All finish colors above are available in this standard smooth traditional finish. This 8-step finish process combines multiple coats of stain and clear top coats with ultraviolet inhibitors to preserve the beautiful appearance of your door. The natural rustic beauty of mahogany and alder shines through with this timeless wood finish.

Distressed Finish provides that special, antique-look appearance to any door. Available in any of the six colors shown above, this distressed finish adds the character of a favorite antique—suitable for a Tuscan Villa, Mexican Hacienda, Mediterranean or Texas Hill Country Estate–an aged look that complements the natural beauty of real wood. Stunning!

The hardwoods used in the manufacture of doors all vary slightly in color and grain pattern. These differences are inherent in hardwoods, and should not be considered defects.

Please note that all edge surfaces and front and back surfaces of your doors must be finished correctly in order to maintain the warranty on the door.
